Bronté Lauzé is in her second year of a Bachelor of Communication & Digital Journalism at Thompson Rivers University(TRU) majoring in Public Relations. Raised in Switzerland, she moved to Penticton, BC in 2016. After facing some life altering experiences, she found the gym in 2021. Just 9 months later she competed at her first powerlifting competition where she broke 3 National Record, 4 Provincial Records, and qualified for the Canadian National Powerlifting Championships. She went on to win the National Championships and later that year became the International Powerlifting League (IPL) Drug-Tested -75kg sub-junior world champion. Today, along with her world title and several national records, Bronté now holds a world record in the bench press event. Bronté prides herself in leadership and development, both on and off the platform. This year she became the youngest shift leader and guest experience manager in a multimillion-dollar restaurant. Bronté hopes to either continue her career to a corporate level and work for Earls’ PR department or pursue a job in sports broadcasting; however, for now she is happy to continue exploring what life has to offer while studying at TRU.
